Walk With God

 He Bears our Burdens

“Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.” – Psalm 68:19

If we carry a burden on our back or guilt in our heart, it will start to weigh us down. Eventually, we will start to stumble and fall from all we are trying to carry on our own. God will remove all of our burdens and anxieties if we call on Him to do so. We will be set free and able to stand up tall without the weight of what we were trying to bear on our own holding us down.

“Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”  – Psalm 55:22

Have you ever felt overwhelmed? Have you ever felt alone in your struggles? Have you ever felt misunderstood? Have you ever felt weighed down by anxiousness?

The truth is…we have all felt this way before. Life happens. Struggles and heartache happens. – A question to ponder – Who is the first person (or thing) you run to when you are feeling this way? Our answer to this question should be God. We should have the natural urge as believers in Christ to run to Him every time we feel overwhelmed, alone, misunderstood, anxious, etc. We will find that our problems are handled in a way that is pleasing to Him and in accordance to His plan if we trust Him to take them and guide us in the healing process. If we trust and have faith in God to handle our problems, Psalm 68:19 tells us that God will bear our burdens daily. Not just when He feels like it, but daily. When we become a child of God, we are fully putting our trust and life in God’s hands. Feeling confident in His timing and plan for our life is to have faith.

How can you be more trusting of God in your daily life?
How can you strengthen your faith in God to carry your burdens?
You weren’t designed to face trials and problems on your own. Give it to God.
